Block level “neighbourhood youth parliament” was organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) at Sakshi village under Longleng district on March 18, under the topic, “collaboration effective leadership and rural welfare society.”
The parliament was supervised by DYC, John Mekhabo where more than 70 participants from 10 different youth clubs with former (NYK) volunteers and PLV, Yimli as a resource person.
He stressed on the main objective of the programme meant to develop leadership qualities among the youth and enabling them to utilize their full potential towards nation building process.
Resource person delivered on five components like, Pradhan Mantra Jan Dhan Yojna, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan motivation and facilitate construction of toilets under Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan.
The programme was chaired by Nehru Yuva Kendra Longleng, T. Thenyei Phom.
