
Two-day training programme on “youth employability and youth empowerment” was attended by 39 master of social work trainees and faculties from North East Institute of Social Science and Research (NEISSR), Dimapur from February 6-7 at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu.
A press release by NEISSR informed that the programme was inaugurated by RGNIYD, Registrar, Dr. A. Chandra Mohan.
The training programme covered various aspects such as youth leadership and personality development, effective communication skills, gender and media, youth and entrepreneurship, youth and employability skills and gender equity.
The resource persons for the training programme were Dr S. Kumaravel, Dr. T. Gopinath, Dr. Sharmistha Battarcharya, Dr. I. Balu, Dr. M. Suresh Kumar and Ms Avinu Veronica Richa.
