NEISSR conducts workshop on PCM

North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) organized a three-day workshop on “Project cycle management (PCM)”, which is a process of planning and managing projects, programmes and organizations widely used in business sector and increasingly being used by development organizations. 

A press release from NEISSR stated that, programme was held from February 27 to 29 at NEISSR assembly hall, with Dr. P. J. Lukose, HoD of Assam Don Bosco University as the resource person. Workshop designed with lectures, practical exercises and activities, group discussion, powerpoint presentation, helped the participants to understand and analyze the details of the result-based project cycle management. 

Participants were given opportunity to evaluate and share their learnings. MSW trainees worked in small groups tasked to come up with a project proposal.

About hundred participants including faculty members and PG students in MSW took part in the learning processes.
