NEISSR holds freshers day-cum-cultural meet

Master of Social Work (MSW)  final year students of North East Institute of Social Science and Research (NEISSR) welcomed new batch 2020-22 at the freshers’ day-cum-cultural meet on February 20, at Conference hall, held under the theme “Creating bond through cultures”. 

A press release by NEISSR stated that principal, NEISSR, Dr. Fr. CP Anto Paul, narrated his experience in Naga community and described hospitability and simplicity of Naga as uniqueness of Naga culture. 

In his short message, he emphasized on core values of NEISSR and seven pillars to develop oneself as competent social workers and urged students to make efforts to develop cognitive, emotive, psychomotor skills and spirituality to achieve one’s goals and aspiration while stressing the importance of mutual respect.

Administrator, Bishop House, Director of Pastoral Care, Fr. Sabu Chenackal, who too address the gathering, encouraged students to do better to their potentials, quoting John F. Kennedy, “One person can bring a difference, others can try.”
