Under the aegis of Netaji Subash Kala Kendra (NSKS), Railway Colony Dimapur, 119th birth anniversary of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose was celebrated on January 24.
Chairman of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Memorial Development Society, and president Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Lovers Forum, Dr. (Erng) Vekho Swuro was the chief guest for the occasion while the guests of honour were Professor Debasish Dutta, Professor K. P. Avikasit and advocate K. K. Paul.
The celebration was interspersed with songs in honour of Netaji by the students of Dimapur Music College. Students from various schools of Dimapur who excelled in Art (Sit & Draw) and other competitions were given prizes by the organisation.
Welcome speech was delivered by Sushanta Bhattacharjee, advocate Yogendra Gupta anchored the programme and Kamal Dey proposed the vote of thanks.
