The North-East United Forum Bengaluru (NEUFB) successfully hosted its annual event at St. Joseph’s University Auditorium, Shantinagar, Bengaluru, marking a vibrant celebration of unity, culture, and diversity. The grand occasion witnessed one of the largest gatherings of the North-East community in the city, radiating joy, camaraderie, and a deep sense of cultural pride.
The mega cultural extravaganza brought together communities, artists, entrepreneurs, achievers, and well-wishers on one platform, fostering cultural exchange and unity among the Northeastern states and the wider Karnataka community. Through mesmerizing performances, exhibitions, and interactive sessions, the event showcased the rich traditional and contemporary art forms of the Northeast, while also promoting entrepreneurship, business networking, and social harmony between the Northeast and the rest of India.
The day’s highlights included spectacular traditional and fusion dance performances representing all eight Northeastern states, authentic food stalls offering regional delicacies, and exhibition and entrepreneurship stalls displaying local crafts, innovations, and creative ventures. The program also featured felicitations of achievers and cultural ambassadors, live musical performances, and engaging cultural networking sessions.
Adding depth to the celebration, two podcast sessions were held. The first session was graced by head of the Royal House of Tripura & Chairman, TIPRA Motha, Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, as the functional president, and chairman, MIDC & National President – NPP, James P.K. Sangma, as guest of honour.
Although unable to attend in person, Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma shared a heartfelt video message extending his support and appreciation for the initiative. Distinguished guests in attendance included MLC & Advocate, Karnataka Legislative Council, Suresh Babu, Commissioner of Income Tax, Bengaluru Nandini Das and joint resident commissioner, Government of Manipur, Manipur Liaison Office, Bengaluru, Rajesh A.M.
