The newly elected executives of Angami Students’ Union (ASU) took over after a change of guard programme held at the union’s office, here on Saturday.
The new team for the tenure 2023-25 will be headed by Khriesamhalie David Mere as president who took over the office in the presence of senior leaders.
In a brief remark Mere assured that he and his team would give their best for the union and serve the office. At the same time, he also sought the support and guidance of the seniors towards strengthening the union. Earlier, the programme was chaired by Zhasakholie Kehie, invocation by Keyhoviu Medom while short speeches were delivered by outgoing president Bisevi Nakhro, tribunals and other senior leaders.
