New CBCS Church building dedicated in Seluophe

A new building of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Seluophe (CBCS), Dimapur was inaugurated and dedicated by Rev. Khrotso Mero, executive secretary of Chakhesang Baptist Church Council on February 28.

A press release by 19th Phek A/C press and media cell stated that the Church building was financed by Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, NPF MLA, and his family. Azo thanked God Almighty and attributed his service to the glory of God. He asserted that earthly wealth and riches were worthless and meaningless if a person forgets the love of God, parents, family, or stopped doing humanitarian work.
Recollecting his association with CBCS, Azo narrated how he was invited to share the word of God at one of its programs and how God moved his heart to have compassion on the people and the Church as the building was literally on the verge of collapse at that point of time. Azo said that he and his family took courage and decided to build the Church against all hardships and temptations and completed the work.
Expressing gratefulness to the Chakhesang people for their prayer support and encouragement, Azo said that there was no greater joy in life than doing great works for Christ.
Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao, senior pastor CBC Ministers Hill also spoke on the occasion. The service was led by pastor, Musilo Nusory.
