New GMS building inaugurated in Phek Basa

Deputy Education Officer, Phek district, Nuchisalu, has inaugurated a new school building of Government Middle School in Phek Basa as the chief guest.
Maintaining that quality education is the most important parts of one’s life, she called upon the gathering to pursue quality of education in order to compete with the rest of the world.
She said without education, it would be difficult for anyone to venture into other profession such as business and farming. She, therefore, said everyone should be equipped with quality education in this modern world for betterment of oneself and the society.
Commenting on NBSE systems like framing, reframing, designing and redesigning the academic curriculum, she said all these are done to meet the needs and demands of the changing time.
She also called upon the parents and teachers to help the children by encouraging them to stand on their feet so that they become responsible person. She said one should not take wrong ideology but apply their interest and ability to compete with others.
The function was chaired by head master Nuchita Venuh, while the bible reading and prayer was pronounced by Z Nienu, Pastor PBBC. The welcome song was presented by the school children and a solo by Shekuvo.
A brief report on the building was presented by S Ngulie Nienu, JEO Shevozo, while short speeches were delivered by Sr. HA Chisapa and former teacher Sahuyi Kezo.
