New Lalong Sub Centre inaugurated

New Lalong Sub Centre under Tening block, Peren district was inaugurated on March 28 by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Peren Dr. K. Limatula Ao.
A press release by CMO Peren office stated that Dr. Limatula expressed hope that through the Sub Centre the department would be able to efficiently provide service to the community, and the people of the area would benefit in the health sector.
Highlighting the importance of communitization, the CMO also urged the community to extend cooperation for the smooth functioning of the Sub Centre.
In a short speech, Extra Assistant Commissioner (EAC) Yimkum Y. Ozukum expressed that the new Sub Centre would be beneficial for the community. A short speech was also delivered by Lalong Village Council (LVC) chairman Namhei Kuame.
The inauguration programme was chaired by CHC medical officer, Dr. M. Nuksung Jamir, invocation by Lalong Baptist Church (LBC) pastor, Haicheilak LK Newme, welcome address was delivered by head GB LK Abui, vote of thanks by ANM Lalong Sub Centre, Esther Zeliang and LBC deacon, Arang pronounced the benediction.
