Visasolie Lhoungu, president, BJP Nagaland and the new chairman of Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency (NBDA) was felicitated at a formal fuction on March 26.
According to state secretary, BJP Nagaland, K Thong, while welcoming the new chairman, leader of NBDA, Peter Lichamo highlighted the various activities and programs being undertaken by the agency. He stated that the government has a new structural policy for the bamboo mission. He was hopeful that with the new chairman, many new ventures may be opened and taken up.
Speaking at the programme, Visasolie Lhoungu stated that he was happy to be working with experienced officers and statff of NDBA and that they should have confidence with each other to work together as a team. Stating that he would fully cooperate with officers and staff he said he would expect the same from them. Lhoungu added that he would take care of the needs of the agency.
The officers and staff showed him various units and activities being taken up by the agency. The new NDBA chairman was accompanied by a number of state BJP and frontal office bearers.
BJP Nagaland also wished NDBA and its new chairman the best in its venture to further promote the agency’s objectives.
