The new office of Dimapur Lotha Youth Organization (DLYO) at Duncan, opposite Nayara petrol station, was dedicated on Saturday. The dedication ceremony was officiated by pastor Benlanthung Yanthan of Lotha Baptist Church Dimapur (LBCD).
In his message, Benlanthung lauded DLYO for its contributions to the community and emphasised the role of youth organisations in fostering unity and progress. He spoke on the importance of a strong foundation and a well-guided “school of thought” to ensure organisations remain true to their purpose and values. Citing Colossians 3:23, he reminded members to serve with sincerity and dedication, cautioning against politicisation of principles which could lead to division.
Dimapur Lotha Hoho treasurer, Benathung Tsopoe, also addressed the gathering and congratulated DLYO. He commended the organisation’s efforts and encouraged members to continue working in unity. Earlier, the programme was chaired by DLYO president, Nzanbemo Humtsoe.
