New public amenities inaugurated in Kohima

Two new pay and use toilets and three community toilets were inaugurated by secretary of Urban Development and programme director SIPMIU, Motsuthung Lotha on August 25 at IDSMT complex near new secretariat Kohima. 
A press note by Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) media cell stated that Motsuthung elaborated on the project concept and appealed both the KMC and public to maintain the amenities properly for the welfare of the general public.
The technical report was presented by additional programme director SIPMIU, Er. Limanaro and acceptance speech by administrator, Kethosituo Sekhose.
The five toilet blocks were constructed at the cost of Rs.92,05,414/- located at IDSMT & Kezieke (pay & use) and community toilets constructed one at north police station & two at upper AG colony.
Earlier, pastor “Breath of Life” Nagamese church, Kohima, Rev. Rajesh dedicated the program and the meeting was chaired by Virul Kikhi, adminstrative officer SIPMIU.
 The program was attended by Khupi Natso, engineer-in-chief PWD, EE power, contractors, SIPMIU & KMC officials, public and some community toilets beneficiaries.
