Shopping hrs from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Dimapur district administration has ordered that all retail shops in the district would be permitted to be open from 9am to 2pm with effect from June 2, 2020.
In an order, DC Dimapur, Anoop Khinchi, however, stated that all shops in New Market, Hong Kong Market, Hazi Park, Millennium Market, Railway bazaar, vegetable market at Purana Bazar and all weekly bazaar would remain closed. All shops including shops in residential complex and market complexes except shops at multi brand and single brand malls, outside the limits of municipalities and town councils with 50% strength, would be permitted to open.
Further, all shops within the limits of municipalities and town councils except shops at Multi brand and single brand malls, outside the limits of municipalities and town councils with 50% strength would be permitted to open.
In another order, DC stated that all hardware shops in the district would be permitted to open from 6am to 10 a.m. only.
Meanwhile, DC directed all the retail and hardware shops to mandatorily take precautionary measures such as keeping hand sanitizer, facilities for hand washing, regular cleaning and disinfection of door handles, surfaces and other objects frequently touched by people and wearing of masks by sales person, shopkeepers and other persons in contact with high number of people besides maintaining social distancing.
