A new born was found abandoned at State Stadium, Dimapur on June 12. According to Dy. Commissioner of Police (Crime)/PRO, on receiving the information, Dimapur Women Police Station team immediately rushed to the scene and discovered the baby wrapped in a green blanket with a white dog print, placed inside a brown cardboard box. An inquest was conducted in the presence of witnesses, and after completing all legal procedures, the baby’s body was sent to the District Hospital Dimapur Morgue for post-mortem examination and identification. Authorities have requested that any claimant, relatives, or friends of the deceased contact the Officer-in-Charge at Women Police Station, Dimapur, at 7085055027.
