DIMAPUR: North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Ministry of Culture, has invited applications from artistes, performers and cultural groups from its eight member States for fresh empanelment and renewal of empanelment.
The process will be completed by September 2026. The age criteria stipulate that performing artistes should generally be between 18 and 35 years, while musicians and accompanists may be considered up to 55 years, depending on the nature of the art form, a DIPR report stated. Eligible applicants include artistes, performers, folk and tribal cultural groups, artisans/crafts persons, ethnic cuisine artisans, traditional game performers and other cultural groups interested in participating in NEZCC programmes. Those already empanelled are also required to apply for renewal.
Artistes and groups empanelled or renewed during the process will be considered for participation in NEZCC programmes. Application forms and details will be available on the NEZCC website: nezccindia.org.in/Home/Advertisement
