NFA announces AIFF season dates and transfer window for 2025-26

The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) has officially announced the season dates and registration periods (transfer window) for the 2025-26 football season, as confirmed by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) in its recent circular.
According to the AIFF directive, the football season will commence on June 1, 2025, and conclude on May 31, 2026. The registration periods for professional and amateur players have also been finalized. For men’s football, the first registration period will be from June 12, 2025, to August 31, 2025, while the second registration window will take place from January 1, 2026, to January 31, 2026.
For women’s football, the registration periods follow a similar timeline, with the first window running from June 1, 2025, to August 31, 2025, and the second transfer window scheduled from January 1, 2026, to January 31, 2026.
Amateur players, both men and women, will have a continuous registration period spanning the entire season, from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026.
The NFA has urged all Member District Football Associations (DFAs), clubs, academies, officials, and players to take necessary action and comply with the AIFF guidelines throughout the season.
