DIMAPUR, SEP 26 (NPN): The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) Media & District Affairs Committee held its first committee meeting at the NFA Office, Kohima, on September 25 under the chairmanship of Joint Secretary, NFA Chenonlo Woch.
The committee was constituted by the NFA this year, along with other committees, to advise, support and assist the Nagaland Football Association Executive Committee in managing, developing and governing specific operational areas of football in Nagaland.
The meeting deliberated on various matters concerning the role and scope of the committee, Nagaland Football Association media rights, branding and related issues, management of media affairs, coordination with district football associations, and engagement and management of media teams and personnel.
The committee also discussed its supervisory and regulatory responsibilities for the forthcoming Dr T Ao Trophy (Inter-District Football Championship) 2026, scheduled to be held in Mokokchung from October 13 to 31.
The meeting further outlined the roles and responsibilities of the committee during tournaments and events and delegated specific responsibilities among its members to ensure effective functioning.
Among the key decisions taken was the finalisation of the Broadcasting Partner, Digital Partners and other related arrangements for the upcoming Dr T Ao Trophy 2026.
