NFHRCC begins two-lane foothills road construction

Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has begun first phase two-lane foothills road constructions at Baghty and Tuli division simultaneously—double lane galvanized steel bridge over River Sungkhatchu (Baghty division) and two-lane fresh cutting and improvement works (Tuli Sector).

NFHRCC through its media cell informed that kick start programme was held on January 6, 2025 along with the effected local civil society organisations, representatives of apex tribal Hohos, divisional departmental representatives at Sungkhatchu river for double lane galvanized steel bridges (50ft Length) and 8.5km double lane and 21km single lane from Tuli to Naganimora.

NFHRCC informed that as per the NPWD, R&B work orders the projects at two locations costing Rs.2.04 crore and Rs.14,67 crore would be executed by M/S P.Mha-Tum & Co and M/S 3S INFRA respectively.
The committee has urged all the contractors/firms who had already signed the implementation agreement with NFHRCC to immediately start the construction works at the earliest.
