Nagaland Foothill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC), along with representatives from Rengma Hoho, the concerned department and contractor firm, conducted a joint inspection of the ongoing Foothills Road connectivity project at Rengmapani section under PWD (R&B), Dimapur Division on October 7.
According to NFHRCC, construction activities were found to be progressing satisfactorily, barring certain stretches affected by incessant rainfall. The committee urged the contractor firm to recast the damaged portions once the dry working season begins and to ensure completion of the project within the stipulated timeline of December 2025.
NFHRCC also acknowledged and appreciated the proactive role played by Village Council bodies along the foothills connectivity route in facilitating the progress of the project.
