NFHRCC lauds CM

Nagaland Foot Hill Road Construction Committee (NFHRCC) has expressed appreciation to chief minister T.R. Zeliang for prompt endorsement to the concerned department with regard to release of Bills of Construction of Doyang bridge and earth cutting at Ao Sector.  In a joint statement, NFHRCC convener, Supu Jamir; co-convener, Hokiye Yepthomi; general secretary, W.Y. Kithan and asst. general secretary Dr. P.S. Lorin also acknowledged the chief minister for giving a positive endorsement for issuance of work order for the remaining sectors. NFHRCC also congratulated Vikheho Sumi, for being elevated as cabinet minister for Road & Bridges and hoped that the minister would bring more development and understanding by fulfilling the aspiration of the Naga people”, they stated. The members further stated that the “committee also appreciates and honours the understanding arrived at between the Rengma and Sumi brothers for avoiding all the hiccups and hindrances with regards to alignment at Rengmapani–Niuland Sector and also the department concerned for making the alignment technically feasible.” Meanwhile, NFHRCC has resolved to visit the on-going Doyang bridge construction and the Rengmapani–Niuland Sector on May 15. All members have been asked to assemble at the Treasurer’s residence at 7 a.m.
