Nagaland Foot Hill Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) has resolved to summon the contractor of Mon sector as he has failed to turn up despite extending an invitation.
The decision was taken during an emergency meeting Tuesday along with the contractors to discuss early launching of the construction particularly at Mon sector.
Since the contractor failed to attend the meeting, Nagaland Foot Hill Road Coordination Committee decided to summon the contractor Pongshi Phom on January 10 at 10.00 a.m. at the treasurers’ residence "as a last chance."
During the meeting, it was also decided to invite contractors Yashitsungba Aier, A. Neangba Konyak and Tarep Ao. Further, the committee requested the department to attend the meeting in order to facilitate proper coordination with the committee as well as with the contractors.
Nagaland Foot Hill Road Coordination Committee also invited all the officials of Dimapur-based tribal organisations, affiliated to Nagaland Foot Hill Road Coordination Committee to ascertain the correct status of the committee as well as the progress of the project.
The committee fervently appeal all Nagaland Foot Hill Road Coordination Committee members to attend the meeting positively as vital issues were to be deliberated.
In Tuesday’s meeting, the committee also regretted that the Mon sector work was launched on December 22 without the knowledge of Nagaland Foot Hill Road Coordination Committee.
