Nagaland Forest Management Project (NFMP) Kohima, divisional management unit held its annual review meeting on March 25 at the Conference Hall of Forest Office Complex, Kohima.
A press release by the department stated that addressing the gathering, divisional forest officer cum divisional management unit head, Rajkumar M congratulated the Joint Forest Management Committees (JFMCs) for achieving the target despite the lockdown. He appreciated the efforts of FMU and DMU support staff for their sincere hard work.
ACF cum assistant divisional management unit head, Dr.SevonoSeletsu gave a presentation on the activities in the past one year.
Field management unit heads of Tseminyu Range, Tsingthrise Sangtam and Chiephobozou Range, V. Mato Koso shared their experiences of implementing the project during COVID-19 pandemic.
Representative from the administration, EAC, Kezocha, Kelengunuo Solo expressed happiness to see the progress of the project.
Representatives from both Batch-I and Batch-II villages shared their experiences and progress that is going on in their respective villages.
The programme was chaired by documentation expert, DMU Kohima, Shekali Holo, invocation was said by LDA, Kohima forest division, GhokutoKinimi and vote of thanks by planning & livelihood expert, DMU Kohima, Neiwhenu Kenna-o.
