NGBF urges GBs to assist law enforcing agencies

DIMAPUR, JUL 28 (NPN)

Expressing serious concern over the influx of illegal immigrants, the Nagaland GB Federation (NGBF) has urged all the GBs to assist the law enforcing agency in identifying the unknown individuals or any suspicious or abnormal movements in respective villages.
NGBF through its media cell also appealed to the GBs/village chief especially those villages, towns, districts sharing immediate border with Assam to be vigilant, sensitive and proactive. It rged the GBs to extend full cooperation to the district administration, police and border magistrate.
Reminding of the “very important responsibility” that GBs held at this juncture, the federation said that GBs, as the custodian of our Naga custom and tradition, it was their duty to safeguard land, culture, tradition and people.
Meanwhile, NGBF has acknowledged the district administration, police department, volunteers, students, CSOs, Naga political parties and responsible individuals for putting all the efforts in safeguarding the state.
