NGMA holds annual general meeting

Nagaland Garo Mother’s Association (NGMA) conducted its annual general meeting on February 2, hosted by Samaguri village.

A press release by NGMA general secretary, Holika D Sangma stated that leaders of Nagaland Garo Tribal Council and Garo Student Union Nagaland Zone who attended the meeting expressed their happiness and gratefulness to all the Garo mothers for their contributions and efforts to keep all the mothers united and intact and also for always being there in times of need. 

The leaders also encouraged the mothers to come forward and take part in building and strengthening the society as a whole.

Others who spoke in the meeting includes, Samaguri village head GB, Starson R Marak and NGMA executive member, Mariam Sangma.

Earlier, the meeting was chaired by NGMA president, Atuba R Mara,k invocation prayer was pronounced by GMA Samaguri village president, Narola R Marak, welcome address was delivered by NGMA vice president, Severina W Sangma, financial report was given by NGMA general secretary, Holika D Sangma, vote of thanks was delivered by NGMA treasurer, Aruna G Momin and benediction by NGMA advisor, Fringibel K Sangma.
