NGOs meet to connect and strengthen

An informal meeting with NGOs was held at Hiyo Cafe, Dimapur on Tuesday, organized by YouthNet, with the aim to connect, share and strengthen the NGO network in Nagaland.  
Some of the outcomes from the meeting were to work towards more collaboration with each other, increase focus on the marginalised section of the society, encourage networking platforms for the NGO fraternity and in particular form partnerships to undertake various training projects for the youth of the State.
The meeting was attended by 11 organizations namely Pro Rural, Serendip Guardian, CAN Youth, Exotic Eco society, Prodigals Home, Sisterhood Network, Bethesda Youth Welfare, Guardian Angel, People in Need Foundation, Social Welfare Society and Team Metamorphosis . The participants also decided to have a bigger meet in the future with more NGOs.
