Garos of Nagaland will be celebrating their post-harvest Wangala festival on November 21, 10 am at Samaguri play ground organized by Wangala Celebration Committee in association with Nagaland Garo Tribal Council (NGTC) and Garo Students Union Nagaland Zone (GSUNZ) hosted by Samaguri village. NGTC has appealed to all respective government departments to grant one-day leave to all Garo employees to attend the festival. It also appealed all Garo inhabitants of Nagaland to compulsorily attend the festival.
