Naga Hoho held an interactive session with the visiting team of Naga Yuya, Council of Naga Affairs (CNA) and Eastern Naga Students’ Association (ENSA), Myanmar on Saturday at Hotel de Oriental Grand, Kohima.
According to Naga Hoho media cell, the meeting deliberated on the strengthening of Naga organisations both with India and Myanmar, and also to have better co-ordinations and unity amongst Nagas across the border.
The visiting team also invited Naga Hoho and its federating units to visit Naga areas of Myanmar during their New Year festival and to hold a joint meeting and interaction with the people.
Meanwhile, the media cell stated, the Naga Hoho “through the visiting team also conveyed the message to our leader S.S Khaplang, NSCN (K) chairman to reconsider the wishes and aspiration of the Naga people living in India and thereby renew the cease-fire agreement with the Government of India in the larger interest and unity of the Naga people”.
The organizations further laid emphasis on the need to work for unity amongst the people, both in India and Myanmar.
