
A day after the Naga Mothers’ Association (NMA) announced its decision to boycott the meeting with Interlocutor for Naga peace talks RN Ravi, the Naga Hoho (NH) and the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) have also affirmed not to attend the consultative the meeting with RN Ravi on February 26, 2019 at Hotel Vivor, Kohima and on February 27, 2019 at Rhododendron Hall, Central Police Officers Mess, Chumukedima, Dimapur.
In a press release issued by its communication cell, the NH stated that the decision to boycott the meeting was to show resentment to the government of India for its “insincerity” and lack of political will towards solving Indo-Naga political problem.
The hoho maintained that all Naga frontal organizations under Naga Hoho were expected to follow the steps taken by Hoho at this decisive moment.
In another statement, NSF president Kesosul Christopher Ltu and general secretary Imtiyapang Imsong said decision of the federation not to attend the meeting was taken after taking into serious account of the insincerity of the Government of India.
