NHIDCL hands over medical kits to police department

The National Highway and Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd, (NHIDCL) through M/S PKIPL-NSC (JV) & SIMPLEX Infrastructures LTD extended assistance to police department by handing over medicines and medical equipment at PHQ conference hall on December 17.

According to a DIPR report, in the brief programme, DGP Nagaland, T. John Longkumer said that the Nagaland police and NHIDCL, two different entities belonging to different spectrum of activities were united by one cause, which was public service.

He said that the spirit of cooperation had brought the two entities together and acknowledged NHIDCL for providing assistance and assured them of assistance from Nagaland police whenever required.

It may be mentioned that NHIDCL had earlier donated six ambulances to the police department.

Medicine and medical equipment donated by NHIDCL includes several tablets, injections, supplements and medical devices such as portable ECG machine, syringe infusion pump, digital BP machine, glucometer, phototherapy unit with trolley etc.

The programme was chaired by NPS, AIGP (Prov), Temjensenla and was attended by ADG (Adm), ADG (law & order), M executive director, NHIDCL, S Deol, senior officers from PHQ and representative from NHIDCL, M/S PKIPL- NSC (UV) and SIMPLEX Infrastructures LTD.
