NHM conducts ASHA certification exam

DIMAPUR

National Health Mission (NHM), under the department of health and family welfare, conducted the Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) certification examination for 121 ASHAs from Wokha district on June 22.
The examination was held at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS), Wokha. The exam was supervised by state ASHA coordinator, Alokali, along with district community mobilizer and Block ASHA Coordinators, Echungbeni Tsanglao and team, who served as invigilators.
Speaking on the occasion, Echungbeni Tsanglao informed that the certification process comprised practical, theoretical, and internal assessments designed to evaluate the knowledge, skills, and performance of the ASHAs. She further stated that a similar examination will be organized shortly for those ASHAs who are yet to be registered for certification.
