Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) under Health & Family Welfare department has issued a corrigendum to the press note titled “Contextual Note on CMHIS and the CIPS Award” dated September 6, 2025, stating that some figures published in the annexures were incorrect.
According to NHPS CEO, Thavaseelan K, the corrected figures in the grand total are as follows:
Annexure 1A (Claims Utilization: Hospitals within Nagaland vs outside Nagaland)
- Hospitals within Nagaland: 93,437 individuals benefited; Rs.355 cr claim submitted; Rs.277.30 cr claim paid; Rs.13.34 cr rejected; average settlement time 33 days.
- Hospitals outside Nagaland: 4,245 individuals benefited; Rs.56.37 cr claim submitted; Rs.42.10 cr claim paid; Rs.1.27 cr rejected; average settlement time 39 days.
Annexure 1B (Claims Utilization: Public vs Private Hospitals) - Public hospitals: 50,576 individuals benefited; Rs.127.05 cr claim submitted; Rs.95.28 cr claim paid; Rs.4.03 cr rejected; average settlement time 34 days.
- Private hospitals: 49,400 individuals benefited; Rs.284.51 cr claim submitted; Rs.224.12 cr claim paid; Rs.10.58 cr rejected; average settlement time 32 days.
While stating that all other figures remain unchanged, NHPS said the inadvertent error in the earlier press note is regretted.
