The Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) has outlined stringent measures against empanelled hospitals that deny benefits under the PM-JAY and CMHIS schemes.
This includes investigation of any reported malpractices or suspicious cases; issuance of show cause notice for any violations or malpractices; suspension of empanelment under the scheme if violations or malpractice is established.
It further said that financial penalty would be imposed for each instance of non-compliance incident, with increasing penalties for repeated offenses. Legal Action for severe breach of contract or MoU terms, blacklisting for severe offenses and public disclosure of erring hospitals and their de-empanelment status.
