Rubber Board India in association with National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM), Jaipur conducted a one-day sensitization training program for rubber growers of Nagaland in Dimapur on November 23.
A press release from Rubber Board, Dimapur, deputy rubber production commissioner (in charge), K. Rajeevan stated that the training program along with the interaction sessions were inaugurated by Fr Dr P.S. Vargheese, principal MGM College Dimapur at the college seminar hall.
Dr. Ramesh Mittal, director NIAM Jaipur gave an introductory talk and conducted the classes on entrepreneurship development in the natural rubber sector. Other important topics like pricing of natural rubber, grading etc were also discussed.
Dr. Binoy Kurien deputy director (marketing) Cecil Varkey deputy commissioner, and K. Rajeevan attended the function.
