Nieketuno Sechû crowned Miss Chümoukedima

Nieketuno Sechû was crowned as Miss Chümoukedima 2023 during an event organised by Meraki Entertainment Nagaland at the Tetso College Amphitheatre Hall on October 7. The winner Sechû walked away with a total prize of Rs 70,000. She also bagged the Best Ethnic subtitle.


Choilung Phom bagged the 1st runners-up title who also bagged two subtitles of Miss Multimedia and Miss Queen of Hearts and awarded with a total prize of Rs 50,000. The 2nd runners-up title went to Ruth Chawang, who also won Best Walk sub title and received a total prize of Rs. 30,000.
The hampers for all the winners were sponsored by Lisu Care Pure and Natural, Wewe Collection, Gutouch, Humtsoe Craft, Zenki Organic.


The evening gown wear was designed and fully sponsored by IWSN Training Institute and party casual designer wear by Mhayani Design. This year’s title was sponsored by Achievers Academy, leading coaching institute.
Altogether, 14 contestants vied for the title and went through three rounds— modern ethnic wear round, casual round and evening gown round.


VLCC Femina Miss India Nagaland, Lovi Awomi groomed, mentored and choreographed the event, with Ralan Patton as the contestant manager. The show was directed by Thejakhrienuo Nakhro and bashing Nyam as the assistant show director.The event was hosted by Imnasenla Rachel. At the event, KL Pamei performed as a guest artiste. The show also had three artistes namely, Herman’s Band Noklak, Euli Kinimi, Bamile Pame and Ks Dance and Fitness Studio.


Miss Chümoukedima 2023 winners, Miss Earth Nagaland and Mister Chümoukedima were also present during the grand finale. The pageant was judged by a panel consisting of Founder of Institute of Psychology Counselling & Educational Research, Chumukedima, IDINGIA Asia Youngest Diamond Director, Dr. Nukshi Esther; AAB Entrepreneurs – Founder, MBBS MD (Psychiatry) Medical Superintendent, Faith Hospital Dimapur, Dr. Althea Sukhato Wotsa; fashion designer, fashion choreographer, fashion design head instructor at IWSN and pageant coach by profession, Sanjeev Tamang; president Lemja Organisation, Enyuh Phom; and finance secretary Beauty and Aesthetic Society of Nagaland (BASN) Miss Nagaland organisation, Veineinem Singson Haolai.


The event partners were Semp Engineering, Temsunaro Tsudir, Kaizen Fitness, Liros Closet, ZODMO, New Ebenezer printing press, Cozy Brown Restro, Kino World Group, Homely Baker, Obsession, Serendipity.
All the three winners Tiaras were sponsored by The Pick Kohima. Toreechu Jane and Nito Aye as the makeup and hairstylist. Nchumthong Photography and Cine Production as the official photographer and videographer.
