In partial modification to its earlier order, deputy commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K has informed that the imposition of Section 144 under CrPC in Mon town will remain in force only from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. with effect from December 7. Besides restricting gathering of more than five persons in public places, DC said that movement of all non-essential vehicles will also be restricted during the period.
