Nihoto village celebrates Tuluni festival

Nihoto village celebrated its 48th Tuluni festival, the Sumi premier festival of the Sumi Naga tribe along with the rest of Sumi community.
In a press release by chairman Nihoto village council, H.Zhewoto Chishi stated that the 48th Tuluni celebration of the village was marked with weeklong activities amongst four colonies, azuto sah, azuta sah, ashu sah and angus sah.
The main component of the festival was games and sports along with cultural activities of folksong, folk dance traditional fire ignition etc.
Day one was marked with commencement programme by Dr.Nihoto P.Chishi, ato kukau as the chief guest and the festival culminated on July 8 with prize distribution ceremony.
