NIIT Dimapur announces lucky winner for CSR activity

NIIT Dimapur center on February 1 announced the result of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity in the presence of the special invitees Livingstone Foundation International chairman, Dr. Andrew Ahoto and peace channel director Dr. Fr. C. P. Anto. Out of the 90 applicants for the free diploma in computer applications, Saraswati Ghale, 4th semester student of Public College of Commerce was the “lucky winner”.

A press release issued by NIIT Dimapur head of centre, Daniel Changkiri stated Ghale is a resident of Purana Bazar in Dimapur, who aspires to become a business woman. She will start her learning for the DCA programme from February 4 (Thursday).

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ahoto appreciated the head of center of NIIT Dimapur center, Daniel Changkiri for his decade long association with the center. 

He also exhorted the applicants to aspire to be IT professionals and urged them not to worry if they cannot be the lucky winner of the course through lottery draw, rather they can avail various other schemes of NIIT. 

Lauding the team for their dedicated services in building the careers of the youth of Nagaland, he appreciated the managing director of the center, Ajay Sethi for upholding the CSR activities regularly.

Exhorting the applicants to avail the opportunities being offered by NIIT Dimapur center at regular intervals, Dr. Fr. Anto cited his long association with NIIT Dimapur and it’s MD Ajay Sethi as a fruitful association. He said that computer education was a necessity for today’s generation.

He also wished the applicants & NIIT team the best in their endeavour. 

“Freshest Technology First” being the aim of NIIT, MD Ajay Sethi dwelled upon the fact of change being the only constant and the frequent up-gradations of NIIT curriculums, faculties competence and technologies by the center, which has led it to teach computers to more than 30,000 youth of Nagaland in schools, colleges, corporates and the center.
