Nine colonies council comprising of Viola colony, Lotha Colony, Oriental colony, Kyong Colony, Naga Gaon colony, K.Sachu colony, Zeliang colony, HMC colony and Rio colony held an executive committee meeting on August 28 and resolved to maintain the deplorable road within the nine colonies jurisdictions.
In a press release by the council secretary S.Pangertoshi and vice chairman Heling Zeliang stated that the road condition of mentioned colonies were neglected by the concerned authority due to which the commuters were facing a lot of trouble specially the students during the rainy season.
All the well wishers, churches, institutes and other business established house within their jurisdiction have been requested to contribute for repairing the road for temporary relief. The council has requested the concerned department to construct the road at the earliest.
