DIMAPUR: NITI Nagaland has announced the 4th edition of the Morung Scholarship Test, inviting schools, colleges, principals, parents and science students across Nagaland and adjoining districts of Manipur and Assam to participate.
The test will be conducted on all Saturdays during September and October 2026, giving students multiple opportunities to compete for cash awards up to Rs.10,000 and scholarships of up to 100% for NEET and JEE preparations.
The initiative is open to Class XI, Class XII and repeater/droppers, with a special focus on supporting students preparing for competitive examinations. Meritorious students will be eligible for cash awards and scholarships across NITI Academy programmes, including NEET repeaters, JEE repeaters, crash courses, and subject specific tuitions in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
To ensure maximum participation, the scholarship test can be conducted at respective schools and colleges. Successful students and award recipients will be formally recognised at an Award Ceremony in December 2026 at NITI Dimapur Centre.
Highlighting its academic focus, NITI Nagaland stated that repeater programmes will be supported by IITian faculty members, providing structured preparation, subject focused teaching, regular assessments and guidance to help students achieve competitive examination success.
NITI Nagaland has encouraged principals and teachers to share the information widely so that maximum students can benefit from the initiative.
