Deputy commissioner (DC) Niuland, Sara S Jamir on Wednesday, chaired the first coordination meeting with the heads of offices in the conference hall of the DC Niuland.
According to a DIPR report, the DC presented an outline of the master plan for the new DC complex and directed the officers to hold a consultative meeting with their respective HoOs for necessary arrangements and accommodation in the newly proposed complex.
DC said Niuland, being a new district, many HoOs were yet to be deployed in the district.
In this regard, she assured the gathering that the matter will be taken up to the higher authority without delay and that a full-fledged district was expected by the end of the year.
Meanwhile, Sara directed the responsible officers to immediately start functioning their respective offices even without the HoOs.
She assessed the performance of various departments and urged upon the officers to review their achievements and called for fresh vision to take the new district forward.
