Niuland holds coordination meet for NEPEX 2026

A coordination meeting for the 8th edition of Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEX) was held on April 20 at the DC’s Conference Hall, Niuland.
A DIPR report informed that chairing the meeting, Deputy Commissioner and chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Niuland, T. L. Kiusumong Tikhir, said the meeting was a preliminary discussion ahead of NEPEX 2026 scheduled for April 30. He stressed that the mock drill would serve as the real test of capabilities in a disaster scenario and urged all stakeholders to participate with seriousness. Additional Deputy Commissioner Niuland, Atsangla, distributed work assignments to various departments and civil societies. Dr. Rovizelhou Kuotsu, District Project Associate, DDMA Niuland, also gave a presentation on NEPEX.
