NJCF to hold prayer rally in Kohima on Sep 12

DIMAPUR, SEP 5 (NPN): Nagaland Joint Christian Forum (NJCF) would hold a prayer rally at Khuociezie (Local Ground), Kohima, on September 12, 2026 at 11am to prayerfully address issues concerning the Christian community, including the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and freedom of conscience in relation to Vande Mataram.
In a press release, NJCF president Rev. Dr. N. Paphino and rally organising committee convenor Rev. Dr. Vevo Phesao said the rally was being organised to address challenges faced by Christians in the country and to pray for guidance on issues concerning religious liberty and freedom of conscience.
NJCF appealed to churches, pastors, leaders and believers in Kohima and surrounding areas to participate in the rally.
It also appealed to those unable to attend to uphold the rally and the issues raised through personal and congregational prayers.
