NL House Delhi celebrates statehood day

DIMAPUR

The 63rd Statehood Day of Nagaland was celebrated at Nagaland House, 29-Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Road, New Delhi on December 1. Joint Resident Commissioner (JRC), Nagaland House New Delhi, Sharon Longchari unfurled the national flag to commemorate the special occasion.
The celebration was attended by senior officers, staff of NH, New Delhi and guests. According to DIPR report, Longchari addressing the gathering said that the day was marked to reflect and appreciate on how far the State has come since its formation.
Recounting how the state came to being, she stated that it has faced many challenges and though being a small state with a population of less than two million, the aspirations of the State is big, and added that it can be achieved with participation of all.
