Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) has notified that the assembly speaker has been intimated that Dr. Neiphiu Rio, MLA, has been unanimously elected as Leader of Naga Peoples Front Legislature Party (NPFLP) to the 14th House of the NLA with effect from October 18, 2025.
In another notification, the NLA notified that the speaker has declared merger of the 31 members (MLAs) of the NDPP with the Naga Peoples Front formally to the 14th House of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly with effect from October 18, 2025.
