With the fourth session of 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) scheduled from August 6, the opposition is all geared up for debate on Inner Line Permit (ILP) and Registration of Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland (RIIN).
A few opposition legislators told Nagaland Post that they had sent several questions to NLA secretariat and expressed the hope that, unlike last time, the alter would not turn down the questions. “They know their job,” on MLA quipped. As per the scheduled list of business, the three-day Assembly session from August 6 to 8 will witness election for the post of deputy speaker, obituary references, questions, laying of reports/paper/rules, presentation of Assembly committee reports, introduction of government of Bills (if any), introduction of government resolutions (if any) and discussion on Registration of Indigenous Inhabitants of Nagaland and ILP, among others.
