Nagaland Legislative Assembly Speaker Chotisuh Sazo has issued a notice to NPF led by Dr. Shürhozelie to file counter reply to the response submitted by the Noke-led NPF on March 30. The speaker informed the NPF Central to submit the counter- response within ten days.
Sazo disclosed to Nagaland Post that he received the reply from Noke led NPF on March 30 in response to the notice which he had issued on a petition seeking disqualification of legislators which was filed by Dr. Shürohzelie Liezietsu.
On receipt of the reply from the Noke-led NPF, Sazo said he had accordingly issued another notice to Dr. Shürhozelie for counter reply.
It may be mentioned that NPF president Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu had filed a petition to NLA speaker Chotisuh Sazo seeking disqualification of the 19 MLAs in the Noke-led NPF during the early part of March. Accordingly the speaker had issued a notice returnable within 20 days to all the legislators sought to be disqualified who are with Noke- led NPF.
The speaker had sought their replies to the petition for their disqualification from the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on various ground as submitted by Dr. Shürhozelie.
