
Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) speaker, Sharingain Longkumer, inaugurated the newly digitised ADC planning conference hall, here on Saturday, in the presence of Minister PWD (housing & mechanical) & DPDB Mokokchung chairman Tongpang Ozukum.
While delivering his inaugural speech, Sharingain Longkumer said that the concept to digitise the ADC planning conference hall was conceived in 2019 under his DPDB chair with the then deputy commissioner (DC) of Mokokchung Rajesh Soundarajan which was equally approved by the DPDB.
He disclosed that the main aim was to digitally empower the administration and that the completion of project was due to concerted efforts from all corners.
Sharingain also stated that the pandemic was another factor which hastened early completion.
He expressed hope that a “deputy commissioner digital dish board” would be installed in the near future.
While delivering a short speech, Minister of PWD (Housing & Mechanical) Tongpang Ozukum thanked NLA speaker for his interest and initiative in the modernised ADC planning conference hall.
Earlier, the introductory note was delivered by DC Limawabang Jamir.
It may be mentioned that the digitised conference hall can accommodate seventy people for video conference, fed by NICnet.
