New Life Bible College (NLBC) observed its 25th “Freshers’ Day” on July 10 under the theme, “The New Beginning” (Jeremiah.29:11) with president NCRC, Rev. Vangpong Phom, as the guest of honour.
Speaking at the programme, Rev. Vangpong, encouraged the freshers that one must know its identity and confidence which are to be tied to God’s presence in their life and stated reminded them that God hasn’t called you because of who they are, but because of who He is.
He said that all must learn that everything works according to God’s plan and God’s timing and said all have to learn to restrain anger or impatience with God.
Rev further challenged the freshers to strive to complete the journey and to finish the race, always remembering to please the master.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by M. Div II Kadaraibou & B.Th III, Alino; invocation was offered by college PRO, Elika Zhimo. Speech on behalf of the freshers was delivered by Nokto Konyak while director NLBC, Jackto Wotsa delivered the welcome speech.
