
Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) led by its President, C. Talimoa, met Secretary, Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram and Sikkim, Kulesh Goswami, at designated office in Guwahati, on December 28.
A press release by NSLF stated that the team addressed grievances of recent bar on enrolment of fresh law graduates of Kohima Law College under State Bar Council.
NSLF said that the advertent procrastination to register fresh Kohima Law graduates in state roll had “impeded students at stark disadvantage in their career progression and future professional activities”.
The state bar council while acknowledging impediment endured by aggrieved students assured that with assent of Bar Council of India and after its approval, it would commence with registration of fresh law graduates of Kohima Law Collage.
In this regard, Nagaland Law Students’ Federation would also communicate with Bar Council of India, New Delhi for speedy redressed post vacation, it informed.
Further, NLSF acknowledged the state bar council for timely resuming registration of law graduates from Mokokchung Law College and City Law College, Dimapur in the state roll.
